WTF, watched a king movie tonight...some sorta variant of James Bond, the HK kind. I like diverting my attention... Ok, it's like the 31st already, and I have zero plans. This is the epitome of sadness. Start the new year with nothing. Kinda bleak premonition if you ask me. Start with nothing meaning the year will be filled with nothingness, and ends with more nothings. I shouldn't be even contemplating playing CS on New Year's eve. But it's much more tolerable than spending time with relatives, quaffin' weird drinks and pretending you like them. well well well.... only 2 more full days left in the year... and only 2 more days left in the REAL millennium... (ha! believe it... 2001 is the REAL first year of the 3rd millennium...). Even if most of the western world has decided that we're already in the new millennium, I think i can take heart in the fact that some places, like Japan, have decided to do things properly, and are treating this year as the last of the 2nd millenium. (Hm.. anyone getting confused here? i am rambling like the bored fuk i am...) Anyway, looking back at this year. .. i have shit all to say. I dunno, stuff happened, other stuff didnt happen, and a whole heap of stuff may or may not have happened that i can't remember.... oh well. I guess if i look at the year from a sort of.. er... global perspective, it was a pretty wierd year... after years of anticipation, Diablo II finally came out (though a bit of a let down)...hm.. i guess other anticipated stuff came out too, but i cant remember much.. TV around the world seemed dedicated to reality shows like Survivor wtf. .... Sydney had the Olympics (Er.. woohoo?) which were surprisingly pretty decent.... oh, and the Y2K bug thing never showed up to get it's ass kicked by IT dudes... there was some big bruhaha about an american presidential election.... oh, and apparently chris rock said "The best golfer is black and the best rapper is white" ... wierd eh? heheheh. whatever. hello to 2K1

Sucks to be in sydney! Try Perth thanks :( But I won't get started about how much Perth sucks... yet :D Ok so I decided a week or two ago to occasionally drink, but not to get drunk, why? because it sucks :( Don't do drugs! I think you have to select the different screen type in the DVD menu... some DVDs support both wide screen and normal, but some only haveone or the other.

Hee, haven't posted for a few days, so I think I'll take my toke. All I've been doing is watching movies lately, oh and a teeeensy bit of Brood War but that doesn't count as a return... does it? hah. Anyways, Fight Club rules, Dogma is ok (they shoulda just made the story about the 2 guys who play the prophets), Final Destination is another teen horror type flick that is predictable aswell as stupid... all in all it's a ok movie. Hired out Gladiator on dvd though I had already seen it at the movies, it's even more boring the 2nd time round. Hmm.. what else, Oh watched Human Traffic, that's... ever go to one of them parties, where your the designated driver or something, and everyone else is f*cked of thier face except you? Pretty dull huh. Well, I suggest getting smashed before watching it. Oh, and Detroit Rock City owns! get it out! Sad, the Procrastination factor has hit Procrastination, I guess it was sorta inevitable. ANYway, Been running around doing stuff, so's Nick (TAFEboy YO~) so I guess that sort of explains it. Stereo shopping's been fun, me and Rochelle were looking for one to send to her brother in the Philippines, picked up a top Sony 5.1 choice, but tape and CD only (I'm strictly a Minidisc fan myself). The whole shopping escapade finally got me into getting my damn stereo fixed, the poor bastard's been sitting there with a jammed MD changer for months so I put it in to get fixed under warranty 1 month before the warranty runs out (king 2 year warranty factor). By the way, Minidiscs have just copped an 'LP' mode (Long Play). 160 minutes per MD in LP2 (good quality) and 320 minutes per MD in LP4 (mediocre quality). Can we say WTF. FIVE HOURS on a minidisc? MP3 players can go die now (hee).

Reasons not to drive over very big potholes My car copped a flat tyre last night on the way to Broadway, so at the car park it had to be changed. Using my gosu car skills (i took me 15 minutes to figure out which thing was the car jack) and a help from conveniently near by family members (hi Dad!) we got the thing changed, so now my car is driving around with one dodgey skinny emergency tyre rated at max 80kph. Tyre's getting fixered as we speak, but the moral of the story is to not run over dodgey big potholes when your tyres need air =[

Reasons not to go to TAFE: Part 2 Ok, so enrolment for the year 2001 was apparently due in September 29th, lately I've turned myself into such an un-observant person I didn't notice the posters and the TV advertisements and teachers reminding people, 'Oh, hey guys enrolments due on so and so' Not to mention the really informative TAFE letters I get. Nope heard none of the sort. Oh hang on, it's not me, there weren't any posters, apparently there WERE TV commercials, oh shite I don't watch budget TV, damn I'll duct tape myself to the TV next time incase any tafe announcements come up. Ohhh and thats right, tafe doesn't send letters out to thier customers to inform them about ANYTHING, not even my damn grades for gawd sakes. Gee, My bad. Anyway, today was the major cut off date for the 1st round, only with an extra hit of 45 to my already sorry looking wallet. Ok, so I only found this all out today, and all day I'm going crazy like a fox trying to get my stuff together, I eventually get it all together at 10 minutes to 5, and I think so myself, phew I'm gonna make it (TAFE closes at 5 on Fridays apparently). So I get there and walk through the door at 4:58pm, and to my dismay the information centre is shut. I had a word with some stupid devil woman that I had a conveniently had word with earlier that day, (I guess I may have come accross rude toward her snobby hide), but anyway, she wouldn't open the place up for me, by this time it is exactly 5:00pm. Ok, I use a few nasty words which she deserved and I left. TAFE SUCKS! Now I have nothing to do for next year... un-employment office here I come? I'm partly to blame, procrastination. But I can't stress enough how un-organised and how calis they are toward thier customers. They couldn't open the doors for 2 mins, that 2 mins may have decided my next 2 or 3 years, and maybe even my life. Oh another point of interest(assuming that first part was interesting haha :P), the head honcho of TAFE in Western Australia (or is it Australia?) paid a sum of money for his Docterate in Business something or rather, lesson to the kiddies out there, money can get you anywhere. TAFE = GAY BAR LOITERERS!
